Wildehurst Wines is a boutique winery in the village of Koringberg that uses no commercial yeast, enzyme or added acid. In 2006, owner Joanne Hurst planted a garden vineyard consisting of 90% Shiraz and 10% Viognier vines. Her first wine came in 2009. At the end of 2013, the business had grown to such an extent that the appointment of a fulltime winemaker was required. The following year, 500 Mourvedre and 900 Grenache Noir vines were planted next to the cellar that came into production in 2017.
