PULPIT ROCK

RIEBEEK VALLEY • SWARTLAND

Pulpit Rock Winery logo

The family owned winery is situated against the Kasteelberg Mountain in an area where the Brink family has farmed for more than five decades. The winery was erected in 2003 and named after a nearby geological landmark. The first vintage was produced a year later, when the winery also opened its visitor centre. There are some 450ha of vineyards. There's a hiking trail through the vineyards to the top of the mountain, which provides a magnificent view of the Swartland.
