Org de Rac organic wine estate is a contemporary pioneer of organic vines in the Swartland. The farm comprises some 261ha of which a portion is planted to vines. It is owned by Nico Bacon and released its first wines in 2005. Its cellar master is Frank Meaker, grandson of Kanonkop founder Paul Sauer. Visitors to the farm, whose green hillside vineyards make it a beacon among the surrounding wheat fields, can enjoy a chocolate-and-wine or oyster-and-MCC pairing on the elevated veranda.
