Great Heart Wines is not just a label — it’s a movement in a bottle. Born in 2020 from the shared vision of Chris & Andrea Mullineux and Leeu Family Wines, this ethical wine brand is fully owned by its people — the vineyard hands, winemakers and cellar crew.

Their wines, nurtured in sustainable, minimally‐intervened vineyards across Swartland, Stellenbosch and Elgin, deliver natural intensity and a true sense of place. In the winery, winemaker Gynore Hendricks (a Cape Winemakers’ Guild protégé) elevates varietal character rather than imposing style. And in the community, profits aren’t offloaded to distant shareholders: the people who labour from vine to glass share in the success.
