Lammershoek is situated in the Paardeberg Mountain, Swartland. We have decomposed granitic soils, a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and cold, wet winters and a wealth of old bushvine vineyards. Chenin Blanc and Syrah are our first loves, but we also work with Viognier, Chardonnay, Hárslevelü, Pinotage, Grenache, Carignan and Mourvedre.
We cultivate in total 80 hectars of vineyards at altitude between 80-300 metres above sea level & we produce wine under three labels – Innocent, Reserve & Mysteries.
After being family-owned for many years, Lammershoek was taken over by a small group of investors. The selection of a unique piece of land in a still unspoilt environment was their choice and reflects their belief that joie de vivre and enjoyment can be brought into accord with personal responsibility for people and nature.
